Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering solutions which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency reported it truly is alarmed with regards to the higher number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some significant quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office focused on service the area every day. The service stage designed for intervention experiences a high influx of probable beneficiaries, which makes it hard for that office to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra methods to allow the servicing of all shoppers and sassa status improve access to Social sassa status Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
